The rims are engraved with the name and production date. You do not buy goods that have been stored in unsuitable conditions for years. SDT StahlRäder are packed in thick cardboard boxes with the manufacturer's logo. Rims with a similar sounding name have nothing to do with our brand.
SDT StahlRäder – powder-coated rims.
StahlRäder steel rims are characterized by high quality workmanship. The process of creating nibs is complex and multi-stage. Thanks to the use of an electrostatic painting method, i.e. powder coating, the rims easily passed tests performed in a salt chamber reflecting difficult weather and road conditions.
What is powder coating? Powder coating involves applying electrified powder paint particles to a conductive metal surface. The painted elements are heated to a temperature of 140-200°C, as a result of which the powder melts and polymerizes.
What are the advantages of powder coating? The resulting paint coating is resistant to corrosion, chemicals, high temperature and mechanical damage.
The production process of rims ends with a series of tests. Tests are carried out for each rim on an automated line:
✅ stretch test, ✅ radial runout (permissible deviations are up to 1.2 mm) and dynamic balancing, ✅ corrosion resistance, ✅ diagnostics are performed using an X-ray machine for the integrity of the structure and the absence of micro-cracks, ✅ endurance under load, ✅ tightness, ✅ quality paint coating.
The above tests are carried out on 100% steel rim production.

Rims approved for car parts.
SDT StahlRäder steel rims are approved for car parts, allowing them to be used throughout the European Union. It is a set of standards, regulations and technical requirements that apply to almost every part of the vehicle that has a significant impact on the safety of the vehicle while driving on the road. Homologation is a process of tests performed by authorized units. If the part receives a positive assessment, it receives a certificate and the manufacturer may place the E mark and the code of the country in which the part was approved (e.g. E1 - Germany, E22 - Russia) on the product in a visible place. The approval certificate confirms compliance with technical requirements and approval for road traffic.
Inspect the nibs before mounting the tires.
After receiving your order, please check that your shipment contains all the products you purchased. The accessories can be glued to the bottom of the box or located in one of the four boxes.
At the very beginning, before installation, check whether the rims fit the car, do not have any deviations, do not rub against the suspension elements and do not protrude beyond the wheel arch. The nibs should be tried on both axles of the vehicle. It is important to verify the goods BEFORE mounting the tires on the rims. Tire installation is unnecessary and will prevent proper diagnosis of the product. If you visit a service/workshop, inform the tire fitter to perform the above activities first.
Please also remember that the hole diameter tolerance is 0.3 mm. The central opening narrows towards the outside. Only by pressing the screws on opposite sides will the rim be properly centered and the play removed.

The model:determines the appearance of the rim. By entering the model in the LadneFelgi.pl store search engine, you can search for rims in different colors and with other parameters.
Size: is the diameter of the rim in inches (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Possible sizes are predetermined by the car manufacturer. It is not allowed to use smaller rims than provided by the manufacturer.
Rim width: is measured between the rim flanges. The dimension is in inches. When choosing tires, take into account the width of the rim and the car manufacturer's recommendations.
Wheel PCD: determines the number and spacing of mounting holes. This is the diameter of the circle with the centers of these mounting holes. The diameter of the circle is given in millimeters.
ET, offset: is not a strictly defined parameter, such as spacing. It depends on the width of the rim. ET is given in mm. The smaller the offset, the more the rim is, which increases the wheelbase, positively influencing the car's stability. The service book or ASO provides only the parameters of the currently installed rims.
Center bore: it is the dimension of the rim center hole diameter given in mm. If the car has a smaller hub diameter, centering rings are used. The ring is used to center the rim in relation to the car's hub. After screwing it, no force acts on it. It is a safe solution used by all rim manufacturers.
Color: determines the colors in which the offered item was made. Pictures are taken under natural lighting.
