VW UP! - history

A small car (segment A) produced since 2011, so far the smallest child of Volkswagen, the successor of the Lupo and Fox models. Concept presented in 2007. Over time, VW developed its concept with new models (they were Space up! from 2007, e-UP! and up Lite from 2009). finally up! was built on the floor of the VW Group MQB Platform thanks to the Volkswagen NSF (New Small Family) project. The drive unit that can be found in this car is a 60HP (44kW) 999cm3 engine with front-wheel drive.
