VW Scirocco is a car that undoubtedly aroused a lot of emotions on the automotive market. The sports body is remembered by many drivers. VW in 2008 took the risky decision to resume the production of Scirocco. The new body was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. The new design was based on a floor plate called PQ35, which until now was known from the Golf V. Scirocco, however, was characterized by a much more aggressive line of the body, which, however, was far from the prototype. The vehicle uses already known from other models engines with capacities of 1.4l and 2.0l, which offered power from 122KM to 265HP. Customers looking for diesel units could choose from two 2.0TDI options, offering 140KM and 170KM. The engines could be paired with both manual and automatic gearboxes. In 2014 the model was lifted, adding bumpers with a new shape, new front and rear lamps and a changed trunk lid.
