Felgi MERCEDES SL-Class R231 [2012-2016]

Mercedes-Benz R231 is the sixth variant of the SL class, which was started in 2007 by Frank Pfisterer and Mark Fetherston. The project was adopted in 2010. The car was presented in Detroit in January 2012, and two months later in Geneva. Its production began in December last year.

The car is 140 kg lighter than its predecessor, although it is wider and 5.5 cm longer due to the aluminum construction. The R231 uses a new hardtop with paronamic sunroof. The model is characterized by 20% more rigidity, which has a positive effect on dynamic entering corners. Three AMG engine versions are available on the market: double-supercharged v8 with a maximum power of 537 hp and 800 Nm. Its production ended in 2014. In 2015, the abovementioned unit with increased power up to 585 HP and 900 Nm. The most powerful engine is V12 bi-turbo, giving the driver to use 630HP and 1000Nm. The version released for the 45th anniversary of the AMG brand had multi-spoke forged rims on which tires 255/35 R 19 at the front and 285/30 R 20 at the rear were applied. The interior is finished with carbon fiber and gray pearl leather upholstery.
