The Mercedes-Benz GLA class is a compact passenger car with a crossover type body, which was officially presented at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September 2013.
History Mercedesa GLA
GLA was based on a class A floor plate called MFA and marked with the factory code X156. In 2015, in Poland, GLA was the most-chosen Mercedes SUV and the second most-bought Mercedes in Poland. The basic equipment of all versions is the ECO start / stop function. The 4Matic (electronically controlled multi-disc clutch) option is also available, which is equipped with a downhill speed control system and an off-road transmission mode for driving in light terrain. The front GLA suspension is MacPherson struts, and the rear one is multi-suspension. During the sale, Mercedes prepared a limited edition of the model called Edition1, which was equipped with railings, AMG rims and bi-xenon lights. In January 2014, the 45 AMG version was presented in Detroit, i.e. a model powered by a supercharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 381 hp and a torque of 450Nm. The vehicle differs from its civilian version with 19-inch alloy wheels (optional 20-inch), wide air intakes, an additional spoiler and a diffuser with two exhaust tips. As befits a sports version, it also has sports seats and safety belts in red.
