Summer tire tests 195/65 R15 2015
The 195/65 R15 tires are still the most popular size of tires on our market, so we will present the results of the current tests for the 2015 summer season. The ever-expanding offer makes the manufacturers fight for each customer, trying to produce tires with the best parameters at an attractive price.
Tire tests are carried out by, among others, the international organization ADAC, but its results are not yet known. However, the results of the tests of the Polish Auto Świat magazine, which conducted its own tests of 195/65 R15 tires, are already known.
The tires have undergone various tests. The most important of these are: wet / dry braking, aquaplaning and the level of noise generated. The durability of tires is also taken into account, which affects the actual cost of tire operation.
On dry asphalt, the best result was achieved by Dunlop Sport BluResponse (braking distance from 100 km / h was only 35.5 m). In the wet, the Continental Premium Contact 5 (42.5 m) won. It should be emphasized that Dunlop's result was worse by only 0.8m. The Dunlop tire also achieved the shortest lap score when driving in a wet circle. Goodyear tires had a similar result.
In terms of aquaplaning, the Uniroyal Rain Expert was the best tire. Its directional tread is perfect for these conditions. In second place was the Pirelli Cinturato P1 tire, which lost traction at a speed higher by 7 km.
To compare the prices of individual tire models, pay attention to their durability. Kumho tires have a very attractive price and are almost as durable as the more expensive Michelin. Continental tires are not cheap, and in addition, they wear very quickly, which makes their operation extremely expensive.
Taking into account all the factors and the price of the product itself, LadneFelgi.pl recommends tires for the 2015 season:
