New summer tires for the 2019 season? Make a good choice!

2019-03-13

Now, when the warm days have finally arrived and the time of snow removal from our cars is slowly forgotten, most drivers start thinking about replacing tires with summer models that provide better performance and less noise at higher speeds. Unfortunately, some of us discover that last year's tires are no longer suitable for use, either because of the low tread or the age of the tire. When browsing through the mass of tests of various models, it is unfortunately not easy to choose the right one. New products appear on the market every season, but it is often worth investing in tires that have been proven and available on the market for some time. It should be noted that, often blinded by test results, we forget how easy it is to fall victim to a certain fashion and over-invest in parameters that we will not really use. Each driver should first of all ask himself about his own driving style and car capabilities, and only then adapt the tire model to the specific requirements and the vehicle. As a company passionate about motorization, we will present you some recommendations and suggest which ones are worth choosing, bearing in mind your car and driving style.

1. A sporty driving style and a powerful car:

Pirelli P Zero - if you have a car with a power of over 300KM and you like to drive roads at highway speeds, take a look at this model without hesitating. These tires are selected for serial installation in the most high-performance cars used by professionals on the track. The tires definitely improve stability and grip in turns. They hold well even at high speeds and improve the car's responsiveness.

Continental PremiumContact 6 - a tire that is also perfect for sports cars and provides perfect driving. Unfortunately, it gives way to Pirelli in terms of braking on dry surfaces, but it is better when driving on roads in the rain. The tire also provides less noise.

Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 - is another proposition that is ideal for drivers who like fast driving and good driving in rain, and at the same time like the silence and economy resulting from the low rolling resistance of the tire.

2. Moderate driving style (mainly long routes) and large car:

Bridgestone Turanza T005 - a tire that perfectly combines the precision of driving on dry roads with good grip in rain. The tire provides very good performance when braking on wet surfaces and is very resistant to aquaplaning.

Goodyear Eagle F1 - is another model that will be used by drivers who like to watch other road users in the rearview mirror, even in worse weather conditions. The tires provide good braking on surfaces covered with a layer of water, but are still quiet and will allow you to use the car's power when cornering.

3. City driving - large and compact cars with increased power:

Kleber Dynaxer HP 3 - a tire that will be perfect for city driving in both sunny and rainy weather. The model will allow you to stay safe while braking, but will also allow you to drive dynamically with compact cars of the VW Golf GTI type, which offers quite a lot of power.

Uniroyal RainSport 3 - a tire that, apart from its excellent driving characteristics, also convinces many customers with its appearance. The tread is associated with a sporty driving style and will find many supporters who like to modify their vehicles.

4. City driving - compact cars of medium and low power:

Hankook S1 evo2 - a tire that combines very good parameters and an affordable price. Perfect for the city, but also great for long journeys with drivers who keep the required speed.

Falken Azenis FK510 - a tire with very good grip parameters on dry surfaces, which is average when it comes to driving in the rain. Nevertheless, it will be perfect for drivers traveling mainly in the city. It should be noted that the model will also handle the routes if you use common sense.

Of course, we relied on our own experiences and the opinions of our clients when preparing our tips. It should be emphasized that each of the presented models can handle most cars, and our article only suggests a suggestion in which model is worth investing in depending on the car category and driving style. We hope that we have made it easier for you to choose tires for the new season.
