ADAC tire tests, size 195/65 R15, Winter 2014
This is a very popular tire size in our country, intended for middle class cars and slightly smaller compact cars. The well-known German automobile club ADAC has tested 14 different brands of tires with a speed index of T (up to 190 km / h). Owners of cars such as AUDI A3, BMW 1,3 series, CITROEN C4, SKODA Octavia, TOYOTA Auris, Avensis, VW Golf, Passat, VOLVO C30 and many others, e.g. under the sign of HYUNDAI, KIA, MAZDA, OPEL, RENAULT, FORD, should see the results of this winter test for the 2014/2015 season.
The TABLE below presents detailed assessments, sorted by weather conditions that can be encountered on the roads, and labels such as noise generated and fuel economy.

The leaders are such brands as CONTINENTAL, BRIDGESTONE, DUNLOP and SEMPERIT, which were placed on the top 4 positions of the table with the rating GOOD. It is worth noting the balance in the scores of these tires, which means that they will perform well in all weather and road conditions. They are predictable and should be given ATTENTION.
Among the seven tires with a FAVORITE rating there are: Uniroyal, Yokohama, Michelin, Hhankok, Pirelli, Kumho and Kleber. If we have a limited shopping budget, it is worth taking an interest in them due to the slightly lower price. MATADOR tires were rated mediocre, and the last two places in INFINITY and ACHILLES were unsatisfactory.
Unfortunately, the ADAC test in size 195/65 R15 lacked NOKIAN rubber, which has been successfully entering our market for several years, offering customers great goods for reasonable money, often outclassing the largest and most famous tire companies.
